Yesterday, Dr. Fahmida Mirza took oath as Speaker National Assembly of Islamic republic of Pakistan. This is an audio recording of the event. By taking oath as Speaker National Assembly, she earned the honor of being the first female speaker of this prestigious institution of democracy in Pakistan. I happened to record this piece from Geo News TV sending it live on air from Assembly.
